Editorial Photography
Storytelling for over 30 years
From A Day in the Life of America, May 2, 1986
I sold my first magazine photo somewhere around 1984—a full-page B&W in an outdoor mag. From that day on I was hooked on editorial photography (first with film, and now with soy-based electrons). From a fortunate day in 1986, when I nailed the back inside cover for the huge national book project A Day in the Life of America (above), to several years as a newspaper photojournalist to magazine work for national and regional magazines, there are few things I enjoy more than immersing myself in the lives of ordinary people, and telling their stories with photographs. For this page, I’ll leave you with some of my favorite B&W images from my short stint in newspapers.
If you need great editorial photography, let’s talk!
Have a seat and let's talk.
