For those of you who have been following my blog since social distancing started, you know that some of my photos are complex, often requiring the combining of a numer of individual shots into layered Photoshop documents that can measure in gigabytes. But not this one. This is as straightforward as it gets. I clamped a muslin backdrop to a stand, parked it in front of an open door, walked around behind, assumed the position, and took the shot.

I happen to be trapped during this hideous virus with my wife, the one person in this corner of the universe that I would choose to be trapped with. But we all know people who are isolated all alone, or whose situation at home is not as idylic. A call, a text, an email, a chat or zoom call…something, anything. Let’s just keep an eye on each other, okay?
