GREAT STUFF GETS DONE HERE!
Don’t let the name fool you—a lot of serious work gets done here. Okay, and some of it is a bit weird…
I am completely set up to shoot anything we can get in the door. I specialize in product photography, and there are several options.
Ship your products to me.
Bring your products to the studio.
Or, I can bring my studio to you and shoot on location.
When we’re done, I will process your images in my design studio, send them to you for proofing, and deliver the final images online.

CASE STUDY 1
A Very Tired Man
In this low-key self portrait, my goal was to convey exhaustion without having a face in the image. I wanted a minimalist look, with dark shadows, muted highlights, low saturation, and just enough props to convey the message without being obvious. A hat, raggedy old jacket, and work gloves did the trick. (There is one other trick, but I’ll let you figure that out.) The shot was lighted entirely with a single softbox, to the side and slightly above.
CASE STUDY 2
Waterfall Pepper
One of my goals in this kind of photography (this shot is part of my “Non Sequitur Series”) is to get people to expand their understanding of “seeing,” and the greatest initial response to shots like this is, “Huh?”
There is no trickery here—there really was a waterfall running out of this pepper. Here’s the setup:
I took a long green bull’s horn pepper and sliced the contours to create a pleasing form. Then I mounted it on wire above a big mixing bowl, cut a hole in the top, and stuck in a long straw with a funnel on top. After that, it was just a matter of adjusting the lighting, pouring water into the funnel, and blasting away. It took about 50 tries to get the water just right (with some clever stacking). Then I just flipped it sideways—because hey, if you want to be amazed, learn to look at the world in new ways! If you had been in my studio and watched me with your head tipped the right way, this is pretty much what you would have seen. It’s not just a still life—it’s real life!
Have a seat and let's talk.
