Digital Art—anything you
can imagine

Adventures in pixels

It used to be that if you wanted to make a drawing, diagram, or painting for a publishing project you had to use a pencils,  rulers and French curves, and paint brushes. Well, today all you need is a mouse (and some very expensive software).

I’ve been creating illustrations of all kinds for the last 20 years, mostly in my full-time job as the creative director for a small medical school, where I work to produce textbooks for our students. I use the latest hardare and software, and am always trying new ideas.

The range of illustrations that I’ve done is broad: from cool charts and graphs, to diagrams and schematics; from sketches to paintings; from sensible to whimsical to odd—imagination is the only limit.
