Now that spring is officially here (it’s been two days since it snowed last), I’m finally resolving my case of the shack-nasties and getting outside. Like I promised yesterday with the single bluet shot, here is the riot of bluets in their full glory. As is so often for landscape and nature study photography, you have to deal with the conditions as you find them. On this afternoon, a stiff wind was coming in from the west, and even down here not even two inches above the earth, everything was moving. Yes, I could have ramped the ISO through the roof and done other trickery to try and stop the motion, or I could just go with it. I just went with it, and I find the results extremely pleasing.
